Over the weekend news broke that the PlayStation 4 version of Anthem was causing a slew of issues, even some consoles to completely brick.
Fortunately, EA has been quick to provide a solution. They will now be offering specially created loot boxes that may or may not contain the healing item necessary to repair your bricked console.
Loot boxes will run for $299 and must be purchased directly from EA CEO, Andrew Wilson.
With Ubisoft set to showcase their new projects in a few hours there are rumblings that they will shake it up this year. An unnamed source with “close ties to the French based company” has it on good authority that this year Ubisoft will just replay last years E3 press conference.
The source leaked to us that “this year (Ubisoft) has decided to just showcase last years stuff. Some sequels, an exciting new Assassins Creed game that will ‘change the franchise’ and some games with bug issues.”
It remains to be seen if this rumor has any credence to it. They are set to take the stage (or press play) today at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST.
