The man, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of push back from fellow EA employees, continued, “it could even be a single player game only!” This time his suggestion was met with some mumbling. Rumors suggest that others may have even agreed with him.

Unfortunately, the board meeting came to an abrupt end when a break in was reported at the base of the Death Star.

Fans Upset Over Level Of Customization In Battlefield V, Start Hashtag Campaign In Protest

A few days ago EA, unveiled a brand new trailer for Battlefield V, showcasing the level of customization available in the game. Watch below!

However, having this level of customization did not sit well with all the ‘true’ Battlefield fans.

“This is utter bullshit. Who needs customization,” commented a fan on YouTube.

Some took it a step further and claimed historical inaccuracy.

“Those are not the correct sandbags used in WW2!”

Others found a flaw in the game’s depiction of reality.

“Did you see the speed at which he fortified that defense! I call foul!”

These sentiments appear to be widespread as a hashtag campaign against Battlefield V,  #notnotmybattlefield, appeared late last night. As usual, the campaign began in the bowels of the Internet and can now be seen on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

No word from EA or Dice on the matter.
