No stranger to voter suppression, Republican Brian Kemp’s latest attempt to suppress the right of the people involved handing out free copies of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Just outside their respective polling places, many young voters were approached by individuals who identified themselves as being part of the Kemp campaign.
“This guy came up to me, he told me he worked with Brian Kemp,” said Charles Buck, a young man who was stopped outside his designated voting place. Buck continued, “He said if I agree not to vote, he will give me a free copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. ”
Buck admits that he was tempted but ultimately refused to give up his right to vote.
“I actually agreed to his deal, but then double-crossed him, just like a real-life cowboy. Shout out to Arthur Morgan!”
